Indian Head Massage

Relax and unwind.

Indian head massage, also known as Champissage, is a therapeutic practice originating from Ayurveda, the ancient Indian healing system. It involves massaging the head with coconut oil, neck, shoulders, and face using a variety of techniques, such as kneading, circular motions, tapping, and gentle pressure.

The massage stimulates the nerves, blood vessels, and energy centers (chakras) in these areas to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and enhance energy flow. Benefits include stress relief, improved circulation, reduced headaches, better sleep, and relaxation of muscles in the upper body. The massage is typically performed while the person is seated or lying down and lasts around 30 to 45 minutes.

Indian Head Massage is provided by a Registered Massage Therapist and can be submitted to your extended benefits under massage therapy.
